Extra Curricular Activities

After School Clubs

We run an extensive variety of clubs after school to help ensure pupils have access to a rich and varied range of experiences. We know these experiences help build confidence and subject-specific language and ability.

A club offer is sent home each half term, with clubs running for 5 or 6 weeks. Some clubs are chargeable.

ADVICE:

Please complete your request and return the club form promptly.

If you are offered a place for your child, please ensure you pay by the stated deadline to ensure the place is secured for your child.

Please contact the School Office for further information.

Residential opportunities for children in school.

Each academic year we offer a one-night residential to all children from Year 2 to Year 4.

Year 2

Year 2 is offered a one-night residential. The aim of this shorter trip is for the children to get used to staying away from home without any other extra pressure to attempt new physical activities.

The trip leaves at lunchtime.  When the children arrive at their accommodation they settle in and then enjoy a variety of activities such as making crafts, enjoying a party, and reading stories. After a night's sleep they enjoy further activities and then leave after lunch to return to school.

Year 4

All Year 4 children will be offered a one-night residential in the Autumn term of their final year at school. Children will attempt a more challenging timetable that will, where possible, include water-based activities such as sailing and paddleboarding.
