At the start of the Autumn Term our theme is Time Travellers the children will become time travellers to explore changes in British history from the Stone Age to the Iron Age. They will continue on their journey to consider the impact of the Roman Empire on Britain as well as other invaders in the Anglo Saxons, Scots and Vikings.
Exciting texts will drive the children's learning and promote engaging learning opportunities across the curriculum.
During the second half of the Autumn term our theme is Winter Wonderland. We will begin by exploring a range of festivals and commemorations marked at this time of year - if you feel you can contribute knowledge to this feel free to speak to one of the year three team.
Please see the curriculum map for more details!
Seagulls and Penguins took inspiration from the picture book 'Where The Poppies Now Grow' to write class poems in remembrance. Ask your child about the images and story.
