Calling all parents!!!! We would love to form an EVENTS TEAM. This team spring into action for major fundraising events. They show up on the day to be our army of friendly faces and helping hands, making each fundraising event a huge success and the talk of the school!!!
There is an army of you out there (somewhere) made up of busy parents supporting your kids in all that they do!!! Working hard, living and balancing life. The PTA completely appreciate everything parents do to the support the school already but are hoping that there are some parents that can and would happily donate their time on these days. Your help is needed to help set up, man the stalls and pack away the event!
Can we tempt you to come and be involved? We would love to hear from you and welcome you to the team. Please either email ptfa@marybassett.co.uk or visit reception and leave your details and we will contact you.
We are super excited about this event and as usual all the proceeds with be driven back into the school allowing us to assist with funding school projects and support our children’s learning experience.
The PTA has been united in offering high quality events to help strengthen our school community. Although this provides a source of income for the school, I have been impressed by the thought given to ensure as many children and their families benefit. The huge financial gain of course is a much appreciated consequence and the funds this year have once again contributed to enhance the learning and experience of our children, through Trips and visits, resources and special events.
The PTA will meet regularly through the year, meetings are always advertised in advance in the school newsletter. Everyone is always more than welcome! If you cannot commit to attend the meetings this does not exclude you from the work of the PTA. At various points in the year there will be request for help in preparation for (and at) events so keep your eyes open for an opportunity which suits you.
