Having children at home for an unexpected and long period of time may come with some very real challenges. As a school we want to do what we can to support during a closure period. The information below is here to provide some possible options.
COMMUNICATION WITH THE SCHOOL
The Front Desk will continue to be hosted for as long as we can staff this. The email address office@marybassett.co.uk will be checked between 8:30am and 11:00am and the phone will be manned between 8:30am and 3:30pm daily.
To support you with general concerns or worries about some of the likely challenges of having children at home for extended periods we have created an email address you can send concerns to: listening@marybassett.co.uk. This email account will be checked regularly, and although we might not be able to solve the challenges you face, we might be able to signpost you in the right direction.
Over the next few days we will be populating this page with some additional information to help you through this unusual time.
‘….your teacher’s on the phone….’
During the closure period we are keen to stay in touch. You may find in the next couple of weeks, teachers start to make phone calls to the home. Please do not be put off or judged by this, we simply want all children to know we are still here and give them a chance to ask questions or update us on their progress with activities. If a teacher calls at a difficult time please feel free to avoid answering or ask them to call back another time. Thank you.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
