The summer term will be a busy time for Year 4.
We will be learning about our stunning and endangered rainforests. In science, we will investigate animals and their habitats and in English we will explore some interesting fiction and non fiction books. During topic, we will explore the environment of the rainforest and how we can help save them. Along side this, we will be creating different pieces of artwork using varied techniques and medias.
Maths becomes lots of fun. We will be looking at measurement including weight and time, shape and data where we create our own graphs on the chrome books and coordinates where we explore our outside spaces.
We have our famous Year 4 water race on sports day to look forward to and other exciting traditions. Fingers crossed, our children will be able to experience a residential and finish off the year with a bang with a fabulous production.
Of course this is all happening as the children are preparing themselves (with our help) for middle school.
We aim to make their last term in Mary Bassett a memorable and exciting one.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
