From Mr Baillie, Mrs Mason, Mrs Bartoli, Mrs Froggatt and Mrs Ward
Hello Year 4!
Welcome back to an exciting year.
Morning routine:
-morning learning will start at 8.40 when the doors open.
-usually the teacher or TA will greet the children in the morning.
-information can be passed on to me via the TA or let them know you’d like a chat with me and a time can be arranged.
-pupils will manage their own letters and book changes
P.E. Kits
-all kit correct & labelled clearly. Children are expected to have indoor and outdoor PE kits.
-P.E. kit left in school. This helps on the occasions when we need to make quick timetable changes.
-if your child has pierced ears need to be taken out on P.E. days. Please can you make sure your child can do this themselves or remove them before they come to school.
PE days are Tuesday and Thursday
Homework
-develop a routine (this will benefit you when your child goes to Middle School).
2 must do tasks, then a choice of others.
If it is possible to have a quiet space for homework to happen in, this can be a huge benefit.
Reading!
They need it!!!
It makes such a difference.
Last year we rewarded those that were reading and signing.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
